Open Session - Yoga Nidra - Highland Park

  • Sep 7, 2019 - May 23, 2020

  • Rebuild Recovery
    454 N. Avenue 56 #1, Los Angeles, CA

Description

Relax deeply in a group practice of Yoga Nidra, the art of conscious deep relaxation.  In this class, you can reach new states of conscious awareness of both your physical and subtle energy body.  As the techniques are practiced, you can identify and release blockages to the flow of life energy. The end result is the healing of the body and mind,  the experience of the yoga nidra state of consciousness, and an increased capacity to manifest your deepest aspirations.   This class does not include physical hatha yoga poses.  Participants are guided through a 1-hour process of a deep stillness laying down, followed by reflections and teachings on the yoga nidra state of consciousness.  This is great for those who are experienced in meditation AND for those who struggle with meditation.

Classes are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month, 10-11:30am at 454 N. Avenue 56 #1, Los Angeles, 90042.

Dress comfortably.  Bring a yoga mat, pillow and blanket.  (If you forget something, don't worry.  We have extras!)
